昨天上班的时候，我把手机放在桌子上，去倒了一杯水。回来的时候，我发现手机不见了，心里一下子很着急。后来才知道，我的手机被同事拿走了。他以为那是他的手机，就放进了包里。
手机被找到以后，我才松了一口气。虽然只是一场误会，但那一刻我真的被吓到了。从那天开始，我都会把手机放在身边，不再随便放在桌子上。

Usage of 虽然……但……
Meaning:
- It used to express contrast or concession.
- It means “although / even though …, (but) …” and shows that the second clause happens despite the first one.
Context:
- you want to present two opposite or contrasting ideas
- the first clause describes a fact or condition
- the second clause gives an unexpected result or different outcome
Examples:
- 虽然今天下雨，但我还是去上班了。
- Although it’s raining today, I still went to work.
- 虽然这件衣服很便宜，但质量不错。
- Although this piece of clothing is cheap, the quality is good.
- 虽然我很累，但心情很好。
