Meaning: When… / At the time when…
Context: Used to talk about what happens at a certain time or while an action is happening.
Structure:
Verb / Verb Phrase + 的时候,+ Clause
Note: 的时候 is placed after an action or situation to mean “when” or “at the time of”.
